Jake Gilmore
Jake values the practice of yoga for its promotion of self-reflection and awareness of self and others. He uses his love of music to enrich students yoga experiences, as he knows first-hand the healing power of sound and intent.
After cultivating a deep connection with yoga for over a decade, Jake is eager to extend the practice to anyone interested. He founded Axis Yoga with the hope that you’ll join the community and share your practice with him and others.
Jake Gilmore, Closing Ceremony Conductor, will honor International Day of Yoga, Summer Solstice and the 2026 Smoky Mountain Yoga & Wellness Festival from 8-9pm on June 20th. It will be called Hope in Harmony Yoga - Move, breathe, and lift your spirit in this heart-centered, music-filled yoga experience. Hope in Harmony Yoga weaves together an uplifting flow with songs that invite you to connect more deeply, not just through movement, but through your voice. Throughout class, you’ll be guided through an accessible yoga practice set to inspiring music, with moments where you’re encouraged (never required) to sing along, hum, or simply listen and absorb. We’ll build warmth and energy through movement, then settle into a guided, grounding close that leaves you feeling open, calm, and recharged.
No singing or yoga experience is needed, just come as you are. This is a space to explore joy, release tension, and reconnect with a sense of hope, both individually and together. All levels welcome.
